Freeze Dried Live Vaccine – Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis (Reo) – S1133 strain – SPF origin
Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis
Reoviruses are found worldwide in chickens and turkeys. Some strains become viremic and localize to the large joints, resulting in arthritis, tendinitis and synovitis. Chickens, and to a lesser extent turkeys, are susceptible to the disease. Tenosynovitis is clinically observed in young chickens and mature breeders. Selected reoviruses can cause transient immunodepression. Protection is achieved via maternally-transferred antibodies (vaccination)
