Viral Arthritis/Tenosynovitis in poultry is caused by Avian reovirus, primarily affecting broilers and breeders. The virus targets joints and tendons, leading to lameness, joint swelling, and reduced weight gain. Transmission occurs vertically and horizontally. Control is based on breeder vaccination to provide maternal immunity and strict biosecurity measures.
